DESPITE THE breadth of their CONTRIBUTIONS, LESS THAN 3% OF MONUMENTS HONOR LATINOS IN THE U.S.

Introducing

Latinos
monumentales

A social campaign that gives monumental recognition to the unsung Latinos who deserve to be seen.

But instead of building traditional monuments in places with low foot traffic, we took our statues to the busiest place in the world: the internet. During Hispanic Heritage Month, we embraced the viral “fake out-of-home” social trend to create digital monuments in seemingly impossible locations, each designed to represent the values and contributions of each Latino hero.

paula madrigal

A bridge between Latinos and classical music

Paula is the Director and Conductor of the Northwest Orchestra, where she promotes classical music and social justice through free musical experiences that foster inclusion and intercultural understanding.

Her monument featured her playing the cables of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, becoming the crescendo of our series.

The key difference in counting views lies in platform-specific metrics. On Instagram, views are counted uniquely, without repeated views from the same user, which highlights the strong performance of the three creative pieces. The high view count on Instagram indicates a diverse audience saw them during and after Hispanic Heritage Month.
